VIEW YOUR SCHOOL NUMBER & ACCESS CODEOpoku Ware School is exactly 70 years in 2022 since the School was founded. As such a rich programme of activities involving both present and past students as well as the general public has been put in place to celebrate this milestone. The 70th anniversary was launched in November 6, 2021, and the ensuing programme will officially commence in January 2022 and the climax in 3rd December 2022.

OWASS @ 70The school offers a three year Senior High School course. The curriculum of the school consists of core subjects namely: English Language, Integrated science, Mathematics, Social Studies, ICT, RME and PE and four specialized programmes which are General Science, General Arts, Business and Visual Arts.
The Science department is the largest department in Opoku Ware School comprising of four sections, namely the Biology, Chemistry, Physics and Integrated Science.
General Arts Department is one of the oldest departments in the school, it offers subject like Economics, Geography, Government, History, Christian Religious Studies and Music.
The arts enrich, enhance and transform individual lives. Thus, an education in Visual Art changes attitudes which may transform the society on the whole.
